About Me

My approach towards supporting children and their families is child-centered, non-judgemental and based on the value that I place on people's innate capacity to solve their own problems, in their own way. I am dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in the North East who have being impacted by Adverse Childhood Experiences.

I believe in the strength and power of the therapeutic relationship and that the love and connection that a young person has within their family unit is the most powerful form of healing there is. As a result, I work systemically with the whole family unit as I believe that this is the most effective way of improving prospects for young people.

Professionally I have experience working in a range of roles to support children and families across all tiers of healthcare.

  • Life-skills Coach for adults in a low secure mental health hospital

  • Family support worker in Social Care In South Wales and The North East

  • Children's Therapist

I also have a love of learning and I have always equally valued experience and knowledge to expand my professional skills.
