1-1 Play Therapy
Child-Centered Play Therapy is an evidence based, trauma informed approach to supporting children and improving their mental health and wellbeing. This can be completed in its pure non-directive form or integrating a range of creative media and therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of the child and family.

Play Therapy is child led and is a relatively gentle form of Therapeutic support that doesn't rely on the child's ability to verbalise their thoughts, feelings or behaviours. As play is a child's expression of needs, worries, feelings, exploration of themes, development of self and way of regulating emotions, children in therapy instead use play to stabilise, regulate and process their difficulties in their own way and in their own time.

After the completion of a Therapy Assessment, arrangements can then be made to meet your family routines and schedule. Outcome measures are also recorded to inform our work together and an interim report and an end of therapy report will be produced to summarise our work and outcomes.
